What is ProspectZone?
ProspectZone connects qualified insurance shoppers with professional agents. We provide real-time leads with genuine interest in your services. ProspectZone also provides agents and brokers with the BrokerOffice software, included free with every ProspectZone account. This lead management tool can make your sales process more efficient and effective.

How are insurance leads generated?
ProspectZone maintains a network of websites for insurance shoppers. These sites feature articles and information about insurance options, and forms that let consumers request free quotes. When a shopper requests a quote, their information is forwarded to an agent subscribed in their area.

ProspectZone leads are people who want insurance quotes – period. We never incentivize our lead generation sites with free products, discounts, or contests.

What conversion ratios do online insurance leads deliver?
Conversion ratios depend on a number of factors – including the kind of insurance policy being offered, the experience of the agent making the sale, and local market conditions. However, some agents have reported increasing revenues by as much as $35,000 a year by using ProspectZone leads.

What are your lead quality guarantees?
ProspectZone leads are never incentivized. All leads that enter our system are online shoppers looking to learn more about their insurance options. And our leads are backed by a hassle-free return policy – one of the most generous in the industry. Our Quality Assurance department verifies all returned leads manually, to make sure proper credit is always issued for invalid leads.

How are my leads delivered?
Your leads are delivered to two email addresses of your choosing. They’re also automatically imported into your BrokerOffice account. You can access your BrokerOffice account and manage your leads anywhere you can get online. To access your BrokerOffice account, log in here.

You can also have your leads delivered in a daily batch.

How do I change my delivery settings?

  1. Log in to BrokerOffice
  2. Enter your username and password.
  3. Click the “Home” tab.
  4. Click “Edit Lead Profiles”.
  5. Click the link found in the “Account” column.
    NOTE: You may have more than one account. Each account operates independently, so repeat these steps for each account.
  6. On the Edit Account Information screen, check the “Lead Via Batch” box and select “Monthly”, “Weekly”, or “Daily” in the drop-down menu labeled “Mode”.
  7. Click the “Submit” button to save your changes.

When can I expect to get my first lead?
When an insurance prospect in your area requests an insurance quote, the information will be sent to you within 3 seconds.

What are insurance lead filters?
Insurance lead filters are controls that let you determine what kind of leads you’ll get. You can restrict your leads to make sure you’re focusing on the kinds of prospects that bring you the highest return on your investment.

What filters are available?
When you sign up for leads, you choose the state and zip code filters for your subscription area. The leads sent to you will match these geographic filters. Insurance leads can also be optionally filtered according to:

  • Uninsurable
  • Age
  • Currently insured (yes or no)
  • Family (number of members)

Remember, adding filters can reduce the number of leads you get. You can add or remove filters any time.

How do I add filters to my leads?
To add lead filters:

  1. Log in to BrokerOffice
  2. Enter your username and your password.
  3. Click the “Home” tab.
  4. Click “Edit Lead Profiles”.
  5. Click the link under the “Account” heading.
  6. Scroll down to “Add/Edit Filter” on the “Edit Account Information” page.
  7. On the “Lead Filter” page, you will see the list of available filters and the cost per lead.
  8. Choose the filter you would like to add and click “Submit.”
  9. You will be taken to the “Edit Account Information” page. Click “Submit” to apply your filters.

How many agents receive the same lead?
Our shared leads are sold an average of 2.13 times. If you’d rather work leads alone, we also offer Exclusive lead accounts.

When will I be billed?
When you start a ProspectZone account, leads are pre-paid by charging a deposit amount to your credit card. The funds are deducted from your account as you receive leads, always showing you an up to date amount of funds in your account. Your credit card is on file, so when your deposit runs out, you can add funds to receive more leads.

How can I access my billing history?
You can access your billing history anytime via your BrokerOffice account.

  1. Log in to BrokerOffice at https://www.prospectzone.com/leads/login.jsp
  2. Enter your username and your password.
  3. Click the “Reports” tab.
  4. Click “Billing Summary”.

How do I add funds to my ProspectZone account?

  1. Log in to BrokerOffice at https://www.prospectzone.com/leads/login.jsp
  2. Enter your username and your password.
  3. Click the “Money Manager” tab.
  4. Click “Add Money”.
  5. Confirm your credit card. Then enter the amount you’d like to add.
  6. Click the “Charge” button. Funds will be added to your account.

How can I change my account and contact information?

  1. Log in to BrokerOffice at https://www.prospectzone.com/leads/login.jsp
  2. Enter your username and your password.
  3. Click the “Home” tab.
  4. Click “Edit Account Info”.
  5. Change your information.
  6. Click the “Submit” button to save changes.

How can I get credit for an invalid lead?
You can get credit for invalid leads within 10 days of receiving that lead.

  1. Log in to BrokerOffice at https://www.prospectzone.com/leads/login.jsp
  2. Enter your username and your password.
  3. Click “Support”.
  4. Under “Submit a Lead Recall” (in the top left of the page) enter the Lead ID.
  5. Please provide the reason for the credit request.

What is considered an invalid lead?
An invalid lead:

  1. has fictitious info;
  2. is submitted by a competitor;
  3. is submitted outside your service territory as specified in the ProspectZone Agreement;

When will I get credit for invalid leads?
Our Quality Assurance department reviews lead recall requests on a weekly basis. When we approve your recall request, we will immediately refund the lead cost to your account.

How will I be notified about my lead recall requests? 
You can view the status of all pending lead recall requests through BrokerOffice.

  1. Log in to your BrokerOffice account at https://www.prospectzone.com/leads/login.jsp
  2. Enter your username and your password.
  3. Click “Support”.
  4. Your information will be displayed under “Lead Recall Summary”.

Do you guarantee a minimum amount of leads each month?
Because the number of leads you receive depends upon how many people request a quote in your subscription area, we cannot guarantee a minimum number of leads.

If we can’t provide enough leads to fulfill your order in six months, we’ll provide you with a complete refund on your remaining balance.

Can I limit the amount of leads I get each month?
To guarantee that you only get as many leads as you want, you can set daily and monthly maximums for lead delivery. You can adjust these settings any time from your BrokerOffice account.

What is BrokerOffice?
The BrokerOffice database is a lead management tool. The BrokerOffice database is included FREE with all ProspectZone accounts. You can use the BrokerOffice database to sort your leads, track campaigns, and follow-up with leads. BrokerOffice works with our optional tools, including our quote engine for 60-second quotes and our email autoresponders for automatic follow-up.

How can I export leads from my BrokerOffice database?
To export your leads from BrokerOffice:

  1. Log in to BrokerOffice at https://www.prospectzone.com/leads/login.jsp
  2. Enter your username and password.
  3. Click “Advanced Search” (located near the top left corner, beneath “Lead Search”).
  4. Enter the information you want to find, and click “Search”. If you’d like to see all available leads, enter no information and click “Search.”
    NOTE: Depending on the number of leads you have, it could take several minutes to retrieve your search results.
  5. All the leads that match your criteria will be displayed in increments of 20. Under “Bulk Operate” (located in the top right corner of the page) choose “All Leads,” or choose “Current Page”.
  6. Check the box next to the leads you’d like to export. Check the box in the upper-left corner of the lead table if you’d like to export all your leads.
  7. Click “Choose Bulk Operation”.
  8. Click the “Export Selected Leads” button.
  9. On the confirmation page, click “Confirm Lead Export”.
    NOTE: If you’ve selected several leads, it can take a few minutes to prepare the file.
  10. You will be asked to download a file named “export.zip”. Choose “Save” and then  select the location where you’d like to save this file.
    NOTE: If your leads get saved with a JSP extension, rename the file to change the extension to ZIP.
  11. You can open the file with a Zip utility, such WinZip or WinRar. If you use Windows XP, you can open the file without using any special software.
  12. The leads are in CSV (Comma Separated Value) format. You can use Microsoft Excel (or a compatible spreadsheet program) to open them.

How do I cancel my account?
To cancel your ProspectZone account, contact us at billing@prospectzone.com. You can also send fax us at 312-226-0710.  Upon termination of your account, you will be sent the remaining number of purchased leads from your deposit.
